I am currently working with James Ahrens in LANL as a Staff Scientist where we need to interact with scientists from geological, material, physical sciences to provide visualization solutions to their domain specific problems. I was previously a postdoctorate researcher in LANL for one year.
While pursuing my PhD, I was working with Prof. Han-Wei Shen in the field of Graphics and Data Visualization. I worked with flow field data and particle tracing using streamlines and stream surfaces. I also looked at the time-varying multivariate data exploration and using information theory to provide critical insights into the data. I also worked with turbulent flow structures and vortex visualization for the unstable time-varying complex flows.
